ListenLedger helps people in the US decide whether an audiobook or reading subscription is worth paying for, and which one fits the way they actually read and listen.
Why we started ListenLedger
Audiobook and ebook subscriptions change often. Plans get new names, prices move, and the rules about what you keep after you cancel are easy to miss. When we looked for clear answers, we found many pages with old plan names, missing dates, or prices that no longer matched the official sites.
We built ListenLedger to fix that: plain-English guides that show what a service costs, what you get, what you keep, and who should skip it.
What we cover
- Audible plans, prices, free trials, credits and cancellation
- Kindle Unlimited, Prime Reading and other ebook subscriptions
- Comparisons with Spotify audiobooks, Libby, Libro.fm and other options
- Free and low-cost ways to listen
Who runs ListenLedger
ListenLedger is an independent site run by Qaisar Khan and Muhammad Shahzad. We are not owned by, and do not work for, Audible, Amazon, Spotify or any other service we write about. We do earn affiliate commissions from some of them, as explained on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
How we keep guides accurate
Every price and plan detail links to the company’s own page and shows the date we last checked it. We review plan and price pages every month. You can read the full process on our How We Research page.
How we make money
ListenLedger is reader-supported. If you sign up or buy through some of our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never decides what we recommend. Details are on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
